Mission
THE CENTRE FOR SERVICE AND THERAPY DOGS AUSTRALIA (CSTDA) is focused on working with specifically trained dogs within mutually defined programs to assist those suffering with post traumatic stress disorder achieve predefined therapeutic goals and to create a lasting partnership that aims to maintain and improve their quality of life, enhance their independence and facilitate their increased participation in society.
CSTDA, a “FOR BENEFIT ORGANISATION”, accepts that its responsibility is to the family, carers and community and is committed to delivering services in a professional, ethical, sustainable, inclusive and transparent manner, ensuring the benefits of its programs are enjoyed by all stakeholders.
Recruit Course 115 has partnered with the Firefighters Charity Fund to donate $2000 to Soldier On - Helping our Wounded Warriors. Today they handed over a cheque to Sergeant Ashley Boxall and his PTS assistance dog Ivy, trained by us.
The charity organisation supports Australian service men and women and emergency services responders who have been wounded, physically or psychologically in contemporary conflicts or as first responders.
